Why This Newsletter

It all starts with a promise: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Whether you lead a business, a team, a ministry, or your own household, each issue gives you:

  • A word from Scripture to anchor your week
  • A true story from my life and coaching practice
  • A leadership principle worth keeping
  • One practical step to put God first before Friday

Short enough to read with your morning coffee. No hustle culture. No guilt.

Meet Lady J

Hi, I'm Dr. Jevonnah "Lady J" Ellison. For 18 years I've coached entrepreneurs and executives. That's more than 5,000 hours with leaders who had the résumé and still felt something hollow.

I completed Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and programs at Harvard, Oxford, and Yale. I've advocated on Capitol Hill for small business owners, written five books, run 13 marathons, and I serve as First Lady of New Life Church of God in Christ.

None of it holds up without God at the center. This newsletter is where I share what I'm learning about keeping Him there.

What readers say

“Jevonnah is one of those rare, genuine people we can thank God for. I've been around personal and professional development leadership a lot. Jevonnah walks the talk.”
